Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
A breast lift, otherwise known as a mastopexy, can reshape your breast to create a more youthful appearance. Breasts often change over time, losing their youthful shape and firmness. The areola sometimes stretches as well. Reasons for this include:
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- Weight change
- Aging
If this has happened to you, a breast lift can correct some of these changes by removing excess skin. This most often involves repositioning of the nipple / areolar region while the breast becomes tighter. A breast lift can rejuvenate your look with an image that is youthful and uplifted.

Breast Lift Surgery with Breast Implants
A Breast lift does not significantly change the size of your breasts. After all, nothing is being added. Furthermore, even though the breast becomes tighter, the upper part of the breast probably changes the least. If you want your breasts to look fuller as well as “lifted”, an implant can be used in combination with the lift.
