Patients have the option of paying with a major credit card, a check, or cash. Personal checks may require additional time for clearance. Additionally you may qualify for financing through Care Credit.

Our company policy requires that patients pay for elective surgery in advance since it is not covered by your insurance company.

All major insurance companies have cosmetic surgery exclusions and will not cover such procedures.

One of the patient coordinators in our office will provide you with that information at the time you’re given other fees.

Your surgeon will review your specific needs, but in general, patients over the age of 50 or anyone with a health condition or who smokes will require recent labs and an EKG.

Bleeding is always a potential risk of any surgical procedure and blood thinners may exacerbate that risk. Your medication dose or schedule may need to be adjusted. However, you should not stop your blood thinners without first discussing this with your doctor.

Some OTC medications may increase the risk of bleeding, such as aspirin. Make sure you tell your doctor all medications you take, whether prescription or OTC.

Many supplements are poorly studied and some have serious known risks. Make sure you tell your doctor all herbal supplements, even if you don’t think they are important. Supplements known to increase bleeding risk are: Ginko Biloba, Garlic, Ginger, Ginseng, Omega-3, Vitamin E, Chondoitin, Saw Palmetto, Feverfew, Bromelain, and Dong Quai

Cosmetic surgery procedures vary in cost, depending on the amount of surgery, the length of time expected, whether there is an overnight stay or other customized medications or treatments being used. Your doctor will be happy to discuss pricing at the conclusion of your consultation.

• As with any procedure, the success and safety will requires a thorough exam. You’ll be asked a number of questions about your health, desires and lifestyle. Complete candor is an essential component in this process.  A thorough physical exam will be performed. For any sensitive area, a chaperone or nurse may accompany your doctor in the exam room.  You should be prepared to discuss:
• Why you want the surgery, such as expectations and desired outcome.
• Your medical and surgical history.
• All medications you may take, whether prescription or not.
• Previous surgeries.
• Photographs may be taken for your medical record. If we choose to use any photos for patient education, you will be asked to sign a specific consent form. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us.
